Job Purpose:

The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the overall academic performance of the school, coordinating with teachers, and ensuring the effective implementation of the curriculum. The role includes planning, organizing, and evaluating academic programs while providing guidance and support to staff to enhance the quality of education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and review of the school’s academic curriculum in line with the NJV School Management Board’s policies.
  • Work closely with teachers to ensure lesson plans are aligned with the curriculum, and teaching methods are effective for student engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the academic progress of students through assessments, assignments, and exams.
  • Organize and conduct teacher training and professional development workshops to ensure ongoing learning and improvement.
  • Provide guidance to teachers on instructional methods, classroom management, and student engagement strategies.
  • Review and assess teaching materials and resources, ensuring they are up-to-date and appropriate for the curriculum.
  • Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, and school management regarding student progress and academic matters.
  • Organize and oversee school-wide academic events such as exams, projects, educational fairs, and extracurricular activities.
  • Develop academic calendars, schedules, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Analyze student performance data and recommend interventions for students requiring additional support.
  • Maintain accurate records of academic performance and provide regular reports to the school management.
  • Foster a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement within the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s Degree in Education (M.Ed), or a related field
  • A teaching qualification (B.Ed) is preferred
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience with at least 1–2 years in an academic leadership or coordination role
  • Skills & Traits:
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of modern educational practices and curriculum design
  • Ability to analyze student performance data and implement improvement strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, students, and parents
  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • A passion for educational leadership and fostering academic growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 – Rs60,000.00 per month
