Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to engage students from Grades 2 to 10 in hands-on, meaningful art experiences. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, imagination, and an appreciation for visual arts, while developing students’ artistic skills across various mediums.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for students in Grades 2 to 10, aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Teach a variety of techniques such as drawing, painting, collage, and basic crafts.
• Introduce students to art history, famous artists, and cultural art traditions.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression through visual art.
• Organize and display student artwork within the school and during events or exhibitions.
• Maintain classroom supplies and ensure a clean, safe art environment.
• Evaluate and document student progress through regular assessments.
• Collaborate with other teachers on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably across primary and middle school levels.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating personal artistic skills and student work (if available).
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Patience, creativity, and the ability to inspire young learners.
• Familiarity with integrating technology or digital tools in art education is a plus.
