Job Summary:

The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the Sindh Textbook Board curriculum. The teacher will help students understand the geography, history, civics, and cultural heritage of Pakistan and the world, fostering critical thinking, social awareness, and civic responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Studies to students in [mention grade level: e.g., Classes 4–8 or 6–10] following the Sindh Board syllabus.
• Plan and prepare daily lessons, assignments, quizzes, and projects.
• Make use of diverse instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
• Encourage class discussions and promote awareness of current events, history, and cultural diversity.
• Integrate maps, charts, timelines, and other visual tools in teaching.
• Assess and monitor student progress through tests, class participation, and assignments.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
• Submit lesson plans, student assessments, and academic reports as required.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development workshops.
• Coordinate with school management for syllabus completion and exam preparation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Studies, History, Geography, or related field.
• At least 1–2 years of teaching experience at school level (preferably with the Sindh Board).
• Strong command of Urdu and/or English (as per school’s language of instruction).
• Familiarity with Sindh Textbook Board syllabus.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and student development.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to relate historical and civic topics to real-world issues.
• Experience with project-based learning or activity-based instruction.
• Computer literacy and ability to use digital tools for teaching (PowerPoint, YouTube, Google Classroom, etc.).
